Luxury Marine is a boutique boat brokerage service in Sydney that can help you buy or sell a boat, manage luxury yachts, assist you with charter boat management or even provide training and coaching for using your marine vessel.
Our dealership is run by a pair of experienced marine vessel operators who have spent their lives working in the industry locally and overseas, both holding Master Class 4 and Marine Engine Driver Grade 2 commercial qualifications.

Rather than trying to achieve sales volumes or move old boat yard stock, we spend our time helping you enjoy your boating lifestyle with a luxury boat that suits your needs best.
We can handle everything from buying a boat, getting a boat delivered, putting it into survey, having it transported, maintained, driven to different locations and even set up as a charter business.

We specialise in helping people who are tired of dealing with typical boat dealers in NSW. We offer a persona, concierge-like, experience that is tailored specifically to your needs. We don't just help you buy a boat, we provide an end-to-end service to ensure you can use it comfortably as well.
We are based in White Bay 6 Marine Park in Balmain Sydney with direct access to the marine, boat storage, and other local marine services including personal consultations.
We deliberately chose not to align ourselves with a particular brand or become a boat dealer with a shipyard - instead, we wanted to be able to focus on providing the right advice and assistance for each individual.

Kristen has been immersed in the marine industry from a young age, living her life around marinas, boats or shipyards, beginning her career driving water taxis for her family business. Today Kristen has a wealth of experience including the ability to drive vessels up to 35m offshore or up to 80m inshore. With her extensive commercial boating qualifications including Master 4, Marine Engine Driver Grade 2, Integrated Rating (merchant shipping), and RYA Yachtmaster, Kristen gained international experience in Europe and the US operating super yachts before returning to Australia in 2016 to run Luxury Marine.
With over ten years of experience managing large marine vessels in Australia and internationally, Kristen has an invaluable network of industry contacts that you can benefit from. Shipwrights, electricians, boat transporters, naval architects or even surveyors, Kristen's contacts can make boat ownership simple and easy to manage.
As an active member of the Boating Industries Association Kristen offers every client access to her wealth of boating knowledge. Her experience in Australia includes driving ferries, some of Sydney’s busiest charter yachts on Sydney Harbour and even delivery of motor yachts to international destinations.
Not content with helping other boat owners, Kristen is also the proud owner and operator of Sydney charter vessel Texas Lady (Salthouse 72). Kristen project managed the substantial refit and certification of this boat into AMSA commercial survey. So Kristen is able to provide first-hand advice and experience for boat owners with a level of empathy & understanding you will not get with other boat dealers.

Shane is a well-known ocean racing personality who has been twice awarded the prestigious Veteran Ocean Racer Award from the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia. He holds Master 4 and MED 2 commercial as well as AYF Yachtmaster qualifications, and was an AYF Yachtmaster Instructor and Assessor for many years.
A career soldier of twenty three years with the Australian Defence Force, Royal Australian Engineers, Shane counts among his maritime achievements seventeen Sydney to Hobart Yacht Races as owner/skipper, including the unforgettable 1998 race.
A highly experienced and respected sailor, Shane has taught ocean racing and sea survival throughout Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong. With a raft of international and domestic racing successes and vessel deliveries spanning 25 years to his name, Shane brings precision and organisational skills based on solid military training to Luxury Marine.
